Lord of Death, Lord of the Dead/Afterlife, Guardian of the Aether

While he has been known to take up the black robes and skeletal visage some mortals fear from the Immortal associated with death, Sephter usually appears quite normal, if somber and serious. His task of overseeing the Aether shield protecting Ezrahn from the war between Chaos and the Void is not one he takes lightly. Having been there in the beginning, he knows firsthand what would happen should Chaos achieve its goal of snatching the power of the Aether within Ezrahn.

“All spring from the Aether, and must return to it someday.”

Sephter’s symbol is a spiraled disk that appears to spin both ways at the same time, representing the endless flow of Aether to and from the shield around Ezrahn. Those who choose to carry some symbol of his usually choose to have some sort of blackened metal or obsidian with the spiral picked out in silver, or inlaid as a fine dust of diamond. Some worshippers have also begun using the symbol of an open eye, symbolizing his constant vigil against the attacks of Chaos on the world.
