The Cult of Ether seeks to destroy the barrier keeping the chaotic forces of the Ether from consuming all of Ezrahn. In their rituals, they siphon Ether energy directly from the Chaos Void. This is one of the primary ways a chaos beast breaks free to the realm, as well as more common creatures or even people become changed by the energy set loose.
