The Consanguine are a group of assassins and thaumaturgists who use a form of alchemy powered by the Ether present in the blood of all living things. These “Blood Mages” operate with a secrecy rivaling that of the near mythical Thieves Guild of Nishwam. Members usually have a small tattoo of a drop of blood, looking like a red tinted tear, somewhere on their body.

They often find themselves at odds with the Highwaymen, who are protecting someone the Consanguine are after.
