The Obisidian Coast is a region on the northeastern portion of Ezrahn, between the Doraeger Peaks and the Sea of Namclen. This section of the Doraeger Peaks contains more than few volcanoes, making the area hazardous to travelers, but ripe for the collection of the obsidian the region takes its name from. The Nation of Obius consists of a main city of the same name, but scattered communities up and down the coastline or along the mountains. Their main trade is items crafted from the volcanic glass, especially arrow and spear points, or carvings and figurines often used for jewelry or enchanting.

The legend of “Glassbeard” is that of a wizard, highly adept at enchanting and animating the obsidian. It is said he amassed a great collection of wealth before disappearing with it into the mountains. Miners and adventurers have said they have seen large golems or other creatures made of pure obsidian roaming the higher volcanic peaks.
